Method
- Place the roughly chopped garlic scapes in a food processor and pulse for 25 seconds.
- Add your walnuts and pulse for 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the food processor.
- Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil as the food processor is running for about 25 seconds.
- Add the parmesan cheese and pulse to incorporate the cheese into the pesto.
- Add the basil and lemon juice and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Enjoy your Garlic Scape Pesto!
