Fresh Garlic Scape Pesto with Walnuts

- 2 1/2 C Garlic Scapes roughly chopped
- 1/2 C Walnuts
- 1 C Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 c Fresh Basil
- 1 Juiced Lemon
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Place the roughly chopped garlic scapes in a food processor and pulse for 25 seconds.
Add your walnuts and pulse for 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the food processor.
Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil as the food processor is running for about 25 seconds.
Add the parmesan cheese and pulse to incorporate the cheese into the pesto.
Add the basil and lemon juice and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
